Charlotte STEMersion 2012

STEMersion is a two-week summer camp for CMS teachers launched by Charlotte business leaders who sit on the Advisory Board for the Olympic Energy Academy of Engineering.  STEMersion has been designed to help teachers better understand how STEM comes to life in today’s workplace as well as the high demand occupations which are prevalent.

During the past few weeks, the Wall Street Journal, NPR, and CNN have run stories that highlight and feature Olympic STEM students who are involved with highly structured work-based learning programs like those described in the Harvard Schcool of Education’s Pathways to Prosperity Report and the recent International Youth Federation report.
